Summary :

The matter of our conference will be the introduction of the National Center for educational development with free software systems. This is one institution of the Spanish government. Its principal purpose is to create digital materials for the students of the publics schools to use at the classroom with their computer.

We’ll explain the objectives and ways of working of this institution. We want to present it as a model of public politics to promote the information and communication technologies at school.

The two speakers are now working at the Spanish National Center for Educational Development with Free Software systems. Before this, they’ve been teachers in a secondary school in Extremadura, one of the areas of Spain.
